DIAGRAM: The flanker runs an 8-yard curl route, while the left RB goes into motion and runs a swing route. The TE runs a seam route and he is the hot receiver on this play. The SE runs a post route.
The QB opens to the play side. His first read is the inside LB. If the inside LB blitzes, then the QB passes to the TE. The second read is the play-side outside LB. If the outside LB on the play side drops into coverage, then the QB hits the left RB on the swing route. If the play-side outside LB comes on a blitz, then the QB hits the FL on the curl route.
