Wait until you read through this new and improved issue of Gridiron Strategies. What we’ve done is a complete redesign to give you a better quality product. In addition to a full complement of articles, we’ve added to each one so that we should be able to answer many of your questions. Our goal is to give you more access than you’ve ever had. More specifically, in this and every upcoming issue of GS you will see:

• What Ifs? - After reading an article, a coach may have a specific question as it relates to his program or players; that is, ‘What If?’ Many of the articles in this issue include just that: a ‘What if? section that answers additional follow-up questions. Similarly, we’ve included ‘Point of View’ to some articles where another coach will give his thoughts on a specific phase of offense, defense or special teams.

• Film Room - So often an article leaves a reader wanting to take the next step; that is, actually see film of the specific article. You really want to see the film and draw your own conclusions. Well, now you’ll be able to take that next step. In five articles in this issue, you will be able to see video of the feature you just read. All you do is go to the Gridiron Strategies web site: www.GridironStrategies.com.

• Q & A - Each issue of GS will now include an in-depth question and answer feature with a coach. The subject of this issue is Charlie Stubbs, an offensive coordinator and passing game coordinator for 17 years and architect of many high-powered offenses. Coach Stubbs has had stints at Oregon State, Tennessee-Martin, Memphis, Alabama, Tulsa and Louisville. See his Q & A on page 23.

More and better access. After reading an article, you can now see additional questions in the ‘What Ifs?’ section and then watch the video. If you then need more information, we’ve included the email address of each author. You can then follow-up and directly communicate with him. That’s improved and better access.

We also want your feedback. Don’t hesitate to email us with your ideas, thoughts, and comments. We hope you enjoy this issue of Gridiron Strategies.

Respectfully,
