DIAGRAM: This play is a play-action screen off Iso action. The quick screen pass always goes away from the action. Even-number call (234) means the screen is run to the left and an odd-number call (235) means the screen is run to the right side.

The left OT attacks the end for a 2-count, releases straight down the LOS and executes a kick-out on the CB, while the left OG attacks the A-gap for a 2-count, releases and works to block in the alley. The center attacks the A-gap for a 2-count, releases and blocks the play-side LB. The right OG attacks the B-gap for a 2-count, releases and cleans up the garbage, while the right OT attacks the B-gap and occupies the gap.
Receiver Y attacks the D-gap. The FB and TB run an Iso course at the outside LB (the TB must sell a great fake as if receiving the handoff). Receiver Z blocks the nearest safety. The QB fakes an Iso-handoff to the TB, quickly flips his hips, turns and fires a strike to receiver X for the screen.
Receiver X drives hard downfield for 2 steps and comes straight back behind the LOS. He catches the ball, sets up behind the kick-out block from the left OT and heads upfield.
