DIAGRAM: The quarterback starts Z in motion and when Z reaches the X, the ball is snapped. Z works up and out to the back corner at 10 yards and X works 3 yards up and to the sideline. Y (tight end) drags to 10 yards. The backfield action shows a lead-option look. The QB makes the read to determine the location the ball is to be delivered. The progression works in this order: X, Z, tailback, Y or QB keeper. If the pitch is made to the TB, the TB runs to X as X is set up for the big hit. This is a great two-point conversion play and many modifications easily are added to it.
