DIAGRAM 1: This is a great play to use for a 2-point conversion.

PLAYER ASSIGNMENTS:
Tight End: Runs a crossing pattern into the end zone, settling between the inside linebackers.
Wide Receiver: Runs a quick slant.
No. 2 Back: With the TE running a pass route, this back must stay in and give max protection on the weak side.
No. 3 Back: Must run a great fake handoff with the QB and hit the hole hard and sell that this is a running play.
No. 4 Back: Runs a flare pattern. This back is the hot route.
Quarterback: Must sell a fake handoff to the No. 3 back. Has the option of throwing to the TE, WR or the No. 4 back. The No. 4 back is the hot receiver.
