This play is run from the double-wing formation using Jet (fast) motion. The QB fakes a sweep handoff and boot legs away from the motion. Three receivers run deep decoy routes and the QB looks deep as if he’s going to throw deep. The on-side OG and OT hold for a two-count, then release to set up the screen. The wing back in motion fakes the sweep and turns back so that he’s level with the QB.

The QB rolls quickly, sets his feet and passes to the wing back. The wing back grabs the pass and heads upfield following the blockers. To give the wing back ample room to run, it’s important to throw to the wide side of the field.
