DIAGRAM: This is an excellent play to use anywhere in the red zone  and especially on the goal line. It’s a full sprint-out and throwback to the A-back. The offensive line blocks hard to the sprint-out side (B and A’s point of attack). The A-back blocks straight ahead for a 1-count and releases hard to the opposite side on a crossing route. Receiver Y works his way across the field to the sprint-out side.

The QB breaks hard to the sprint-out side for 2 to 3 steps, looking downfield for receiver’s on the sprint-out side. He then snaps his head to the opposite side and throws it to a wide open A-back for the score.
