DIAGRAM: “3-Man.” This is an excellent fake field goal or PAT play that has worked well for us over the years. The ball is snapped directly to the kicker. The unorthodox snap usually confuses the defense and makes them think that the snap was bad. The holder releases to the opposite side 5-yards downfield and cuts back to the middle of the field. The kicker rolls left, while the left WB runs an out-route. the backside WB and TE both run out-routes on the right side. The kicker reads the defense and hits the open player.
