DIAGRAM: “28/29 Waggle.” This is a great play-action play off the Buck sweep that’s extremely effective on the goal line and works best on first down. The No. 1 receiver runs a comeback route to toward the goal-line flag, while the TE runs a drag route along the goal line and the backside wing runs a crossing route to the endline corner. The FB fakes a trap and runs a hide route directly under the goal post.
The QB’s read is the No. 1 receiver (A), to the TE (B), to the corner area (C) and to the FB under the goal post (D).
