DIAGRAM: The QB must fake the play called, lose ground to at least 8 yards and break contain to the side opposite the fake. He must be ready to throw hot to the FB in the flat. He must get his head around to check contain.

The back must sell the power play and protect the edge. The right TE must make a great run fake and protect the edge. The left TE takes the best release and runs an arrow route.
The Z receiver runs a streak route and the X receiver runs a post route. He must work to get behind the backside safety. If there’s no safety, he should run to the void area.
