DIAGRAM 1: This is a good play to run on any down and is one of our base plays to begin a series. The QB or 1-back must run the option fake. Your players must be good actors and 1 needs to sucker the right DE and look for the inside pitch. PLAYER ASSIGNMENTS: Receiver X: Face chase and try to block the CB or LB. Left Tackle: Step place the side B-gap, scoop the backside. Left Guard: Step play-side, wedge-block man over sealing the play side. Center: After the snap, step to the play side and attack the inside play-side LB. Right Guard: Step play side B-gap, wedge block man over sealing play side. Right Tackle: Step to the play-side C-gap, attacking outside of man over sealing the play side. Receiver Y: Three hard steps upfield, runs a hard post-pattern inside and seals the safety. Player 1: After the snap, open up. If stepping at six-o'clock, run a fake handoff with player 2 . Pivot attack the DE. Player 2: Run a fake handoff, attack and seal. Block the inside LB. Player 3: On the snap, jab step, attacking the right side and looking for inside option pitch.
