This play has been a high-percentage play for us because we utilize the quick screen to our wideouts a great deal.

DIAGRAM: On the quick screen, Y blocks the No. 2 defender (or the alley player), H arc releases to block the widest defender (No. 1) and Z pushes hard two steps upfield, then sinks back 1-yard behind the line of scrimmage.
"H-Go" begins with the same look as the quick screen. As the corner coverage bites on the play, H converts to a wheel route and acts as the primary receiver. Y converts to a middle read route, while Z settles behind the LOS before running a delay-slant route and serves as the outlet receiver.
The offensive line uses a base, 5-step protection and the RB provides backside pass protection.
The QB uses a 5-step drop and keys the movement of the play-side corner. On the snap: 1) If the corner jumps on the quick screen, he throws to the wheel route. 2) If the corner stays, he should check to the middle route. 3)Dump the ball to Z on the delay slant.
